Introduction to Remote Sensing. Remote Sensing principles and methods. Sensors and platforms. Aerial cameras. Multispectral Scanners. Environmental satellites. Data acquisition methods, procedures, and issues. Image data charateristics. Image classification methods and interpretation. Spectral indices. Remote Sensing in water-related information (floods, drought) and decision support systems.

-EEP_W7 - rules of data processing in the field of environment engineering and protection

-EEP_W8 - rules of measurement and interpretation of monitoring data and assessment of the environment

SKILLS

-EEP_U1 - acquire, verify, evaluate and integrate environmental and geographical data from various sources

-EEP_U4 - use proper methods and techniques in the field of processing information, statistical calculations and computer graphics in environmental protection and engineering as well as in water management
