Susceptibility of water ecosystems for degradation caused by mining. Human impact on waters and landscape. Main types of mine waters and its characteristics. Preventing methods according to mine water pollution. Evaluation of the rate of degradation and valorisation of observed changes. Mining pressure on freshwaters in different countries.
