Community - parameters, biodiversity and its measurement, succession, biotic interactions, managing pests. Ecosystems - trophic levels and food webs, bioaccumulation, energy flow and energy budgets or ecosystems, productivity. Biomes characteristics. Habitat assessment. Field trip - protected areas in Poland. Discussion about environmental threats of protected areas. Identification of endangered species and habitats (Habitat and Birds Directives). Project and presentation about selected protected area.
